Your mind is more powerful than you may realize. As minute as it may seem, whatever you think or say throughout the day affects how your day will unravel. You have the power to influence what is coming your way. This is precisely the root of the Law of Attraction. You can choose positivity over negativity.
We all go thru various ups and downs in our lives. In worse times, it is easy to be reactionary and filled with negative thoughts. However, it's vital to know how to flip the switch and keep yourself positive.
There are various ways to counteract negativity, from having dinner with friends, playing games, or enjoying a partner's company. You can listen to motivating songs to keep yourself optimistic. I personally cheer up whenever I hear "Happy" by Pharrell Williams.
Sadly, in reality, many people attract negativity and don't know how to deal with it. As a result, they often stop good things from manifesting and coming their way.
How does the Law of Attraction work?
The first thing to understand is that the Law of Attraction is always working; 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, infinitely. The Law of Attraction can be understood both spiritually and scientifically.
The Spiritual Explanation
People often connect their desires with a being greater than themselves. This being is often referred to as God, Source, or the Universe, etc. It is easy to connect in this way through prayers, meditation, in gratitude journals and affirmations.
The Scientific Explanation
There is a primary law to the Law of Attraction. This is called the Law of Vibration. (Read my article on the Law of Vibration here.) The Law of Vibration is derived from the first law of thermodynamics, in that everything is energy and nothing (energy-wise) can be destroyed; just transferred. Everything in the Universe is vibrating; You, me, and the wall across from you. If you looked at the wall under a microscope, you would see the wall matter vibrating. That being said, we all give off frequencies/vibrations. Your thoughts and emotions give off vibrations.
So, if you can use positive thoughts to change your frequency and uplift yourself, you will firmly hold your desires with a positive vibration and enhance your frequency.
As a result, you go through positive things in your life. By doing this, you believe you can achieve what you want. You pass through each phase, believing that what you desire belongs to you. So, there is no way the result can be anything else.
When you think positively, you have a different approach to life. You are more likely to take challenges and risks because you believe you can do it. So, you will foresee the possible outcomes of the actions you are taking and work on the results' benefits.
Now, if you visualize the same picture with a negative mindset, in this case, you will probably imagine the worst possible outcomes.
So, you are likely to be scared of the actions you are taking. As a result, you will not take any risk to achieve something.
With a negative mindset, you will always be scared of any steps to develop yourself. Hence there is no growth in your life, which will lead to an overall unsatisfying life full of regrets. This is why it is vital to embrace change and thrive with a positive mindset.
Everyone has desires that they want to fulfill them in their life. But no one truly understands that you have to align your thoughts with your desire.
If you have a positive attitude towards your desire, your mind attracts positive energy towards you. It is the best way to achieve success in life.
You have to train yourself to think positively about everything. Rewire your thoughts and bring forth a positive attitude. Only then can you expect something beautiful to happen and your desires to manifest.
Here are some ways to train yourself to think positively:
Be mindful of your focus (point of attraction)
At first, you need to let go of negative situations and focus on the good things in your life. There will inevitably be contrast in your life, but you have a choice on how you react to that contrast.
If you keep thinking positive, you will attract more positive energy. You will become more confident, and as you positively face things, you will notice that your clutch skills develop. You will realize you can solve issues more effectively in your life, and take on challenges with ease.
Write down everything
Writing is a great way to relieve stress. This is where affirmations and a gratitude journal come in handy. Write down your desires and plans to achieve them. Here you can visualize the outcomes, which will help to raise yourself to a higher vibration.
I do not advise writing down your problems or other negativity, because remember, what you think about and dwell on, the Law of Attraction will bring you more of the same. As Abraham Hicks says, "The Universe does not know or care whether the vibration you're offering is in response to something you are living right now, and observing, or in response to something you are imagining. In either case, the Universe accepts it as your point of attraction and matches it."
Visualize your desires
You have written your goals and dreams on a piece of paper. Now every night just before sleeping and after you wake, visualize those desires.
When you visualize your desires, be sure to visualize them as if you have already attained your desires. Put feeling and emotion into the visualization. Be excited! Do not visualize them in the future tense. Why do you think this is important? Because the Universe only understands what your thinking or speaking in the current moment. So, if your thinking about the new home you'll have "someday," it will always be "someday" and not "today." You must think, speak, and act as though you already have your new home.
After changing your life this way, see if you are pessimist or optimistic. Having a positive mindset is the best way to achieve your goals. Your life is in your hands and the ways you think about life. This is your power, and no one can take that away from you.
